Your morning begins with a complimentary pick-up from your hotel or guesthouse in Oudtshoorn where your adventure begins.

Stop 1: Ostrich Farm Tour
Start your tour with a fun and interactive ostrich farm experience. Put on your comfy shoes—this is farm-style! You’ll have the chance to see the ostriches up close and, if you’re lucky, witness baby chicks hatching. Don’t forget your camera—there are plenty of memorable moments to capture.

Stop 2: Rust-en-Vrede Waterfall
Next, we head into the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains to visit Rust-en-Vrede, one of the area's most tranquil and secluded spots. The peaceful footpath leading to the waterfall is surrounded by wildflowers, lush ferns, and natural beauty. As you walk, you’ll be immersed in stillness and serenity—until you reach the magical surprise: a crystal-clear waterfall flowing into a sparkling rock pool, inviting you to dip your feet and connect with nature.

Rust-en-Vrede is a protected area for indigenous plants and wildlife, so please take care to leave only footprints behind.

Stop 3: Cango Caves
From there, we travel along the R328 to the incredible Cango Caves. Take a guided Heritage Tour through this magnificent natural wonder, learning about its fascinating geological formations and the rich stories behind its discovery and early use.

Stop 4: Swartberg Pass & Picnic
No trip to the Klein Karoo is complete without a journey up the legendary Swartberg Pass. At the top, we pause for a picnic lunch with a glass of wine, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. Relax and enjoy the fresh air, open skies, and peace of this unforgettable location.

Return to Oudtshoorn
After lunch, we take a relaxed drive back to Oudtshoorn, returning you to your hotel or guesthouse by early afternoon—refreshed and inspired by the beauty of the Klein Karoo.
