What to Expect
Your day begins with a complimentary pick-up from your hotel or guesthouse in Oudtshoorn where your adventure officially kicks off.

Stop 1: Ostrich Farm Tour
Get ready for a hands-on experience on a real, working ostrich farm! Put on your comfortable shoes and bring your camera—there will be plenty of photo-worthy moments, especially if you're lucky enough to witness baby chicks hatching. Learn all about these fascinating birds in a relaxed, farm-style setting.

Stop 2: Cango Caves
We head along the scenic R328 to the famous Cango Caves, one of South Africa’s most incredible natural wonders. Join a Heritage Tour through the caves to discover their awe-inspiring formations and rich history, including stories of their discovery and early exploration.

Stop 3: Swartberg Mountain Pass
Next, we ascend the legendary Swartberg Pass, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular mountain passes in the country. At the summit, we’ll unpack a gourmet picnic basket and pour you a glass of wine—perfect for soaking in the peaceful, panoramic views of the Klein Karoo landscape.

Stop 4: Prince Albert
After lunch, we descend into the charming town of Prince Albert, nestled among vineyards, olive groves, and fruit farms. Enjoy true Karoo hospitality, explore local curio shops, and relax with a cup of locally roasted coffee at one of the town’s cozy cafés.

Stop 5: Meiringspoort Waterfall
On our way back, we make a stop at the spectacular Meiringspoort Pass, where towering rock formations line a route that crosses the same river 25 times in 25 kilometers. Here, we visit the Meiringspoort Waterfall, a crystal-clear pool set in a dramatic gorge—perfect for photos (and maybe a refreshing splash if you're brave—the water can be chilly, even in summer!).

Final Stop: De Rust & Return to Oudtshoorn
Our final leg takes us through the peaceful village of De Rust, a quiet town that feels untouched by time. We travel along the scenic Route 62, taking in the diverse farmlands before returning you safely to your accommodation in Oudtshoorn.
